Envirotech
Extrusion, Inc., located in Richmond, Indiana, is an industry leader in the
field of recycled extruded thermoplastic rubber. Since incorporating in October
1995, Envirotech has turned over 30,000,000 lbs. of recycled tire rubber
into sheet products that are being used in many applications from
automotive parts to dairy aisle runners to fitness equipment mats …..the
list goes on and on!
The
2000 addition of 20,000 Square Feet.
At the time of incorporation in 1995, Envirotech Extrusion leased the building and two extruders from the former owner, saving jobs for 30 employees and supplying mud flaps and horse trailer wall liner to two loyal customers. In 1997, the Energy & Recycling Office (ERO) of the Indiana Department of Commerce (IDOC) granted us a $500,000 interest-free loan through the Recycling Market Development Program. This loan made it possible to purchase the equipment that had previously been leased and covered the expense of upgrading the equipment. Then, in 2000, the Recycling Promotion and Assistance Fund (RPAF) Loan granted another loan of a half-million dollars for the addition of a 20,000 square foot building and installation of two more extrusion lines.

A third building
which was added in 2005 brought our total space to 76,000sf. This
addition made it possible to add a new extrusion line that increased our
width capability to 100".
Over the past
10 years many new customers and applications have been added. With a well-trained
and dedicated group of employees, a loyal customer base and dependable vendors,
we have enjoyed steady growth. The successes Envirotech Estrusion, Inc. has
achieved have been built on the combination of a quality product at a fair
and reasonable price delivered on-time with prompt and courteous customer
service.
